Colchones La Nuit actively involved in the fight against cancer

Part of the proceeds from the sale of the Oliva mattress goes to AECC Málaga.

This Tuesday morning, February 16, a collaboration agreement was signed between the company Colchones La Nuit and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Málaga. The event was attended by the company’s manager, Raimundo Artacho, and the president of AECC Málaga, Francisco Aguilar, who, after the reading of the agreement, proceeded to sign the documents.

As stated in the collaboration agreement, Colchones La Nuit, the largest sleep product factory in Andalusia located in the municipality of Mollina, will donate €5 from the sale of each Oliva mattress to the AECC in the province of Málaga. This agreement between the company and the association will last for 1 year.

In addition, it is not just a mattress created exclusively for this collaboration, but also a tribute to Oliva Muñoz Carmona, a colleague at Colchones La Nuit, who passed away last year after battling cancer. “She was an optimistic, determined, tireless, brave, and authentic person whom we want to remember in some way, and we can’t think of anything more special than donating part of the profits from the mattress that bears her name to the Spanish Association Against Cancer,” said Raimundo Artacho.

The president of AECC Málaga expressed his gratitude to the sleep company. Aguilar also explained that “it has been a very difficult year for everyone, and any help we can receive at the association is appreciated.”
